Arpheuilles Camping 3*, your camping by the water!
The Arpheuilles camping, 3-star campsite, located in the Rhône Alpes region (Loire department), “has its feet in the water”. The 3-star campsite is located in the Loire gorges, a few kilometers from the Auvergne and Burgundy departments. At the gateway to the south of France on the road to Ardèche and Drôme Provençale, come and discover a magical place where the Loire River flows into Lake Villerest, a campsite in the heart of the Loire! Near the town of Roanne, this lake of 770 hectares and 32 kilometers long borders the Arpheuilles campsite.
The shores of the 3-star campsite are landscaped and shaded with a sandy beach where children can play on the beach and swim in the lake where swimming is permitted. On the edge of the Loire campsite, it is also possible to go canoeing. The mooring of the campers’ boats is free, it is possible to navigate with sailing and motor boats. In the evening on the beach or on the shore it is possible to make campfires, but you can also fish for fish from the lake: carp, roach, pike, trout…
