The Pas de la Louve Huts in Serres (05700) – Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur – FRANCE.
The Pas de La Louve Huts in Serres take their name from the ridge that overlooks them. The road leading there stops a few tens of meters higher to give way to an immense valley at the foot of rocky slopes: A paradise for wildlife and hikers. Located at the extreme south of the Hautes Alpes department, between 480 and 2700m above sea level, the Pays du Buëch offers snow-capped peaks to the north, orchards and lavender fields to the south, under a Provençal sun.
In the Serroise forest where Provençal and Alpine influences blend, cabins are perched. Come and gain height in the Parc des Baronnies.
The Huts have been built to make you spend a time “out of time”. They are all equipped with water and electricity to offer you optimal comfort in the middle of the branches. The embankments, the torrent, the cliffs give each cabin an atmosphere that will provide you with a unique moment of well-being and intimacy whether as a couple or as a family.

• The huts are built in total harmony with nature.
• The woods used for construction are larch and Douglas fir, rot-proof woods that do not require chemical treatment.
• Cabins respect “host” trees and do not impact them. We are supported by the ONF to preserve the ecosystem reigning in the forest.

The promotion of short circuits seemed essential to us. All the products we offer are from local production (except champagne) and for the most part, grown in sustainable or organic agriculture.
Many actions are implemented for a “European eco-label” certification
• Use of wood from managed forests.
• Vermicomposting toilets
• Recovery of rainwater
• Sanitation by phyto-plantation
• Use of ecological products (soaps/dishwashing product/detergent etc.)
• Sorting and recycling of waste
• UV filter to treat water
• Recovery of local materials for fittings and decoration.
• No vehicle on the site (parking at the entrance) To come secure parking for motorcycles and bicycles
• Preservation of the fauna and flora present
• Installation of nesting boxes and insect hotels

Thanks to exceptional sunshine and generous nature, the Pays du Buëch is a real playground and adventure in all seasons for lovers of green leisure.
